INTERACTIVE PROGRAMME GUIDE (WINDOWS 7 MULTITOUCH)
With over 200 events over 14 days, the Edinburgh International Science Festival is one of Europe's largest. Spread over 35 sites, one challenge was to cross-sell tickets to visitors - encouraging them to attend more performances. Based at the hub of their adult programme, we provided a solution in the form of a multitouch enabled information point which provided an interactive medium for visitors to find out about other events at the festival by filtering on date, price and format, making it easier to increase revenues by cross-selling tickets to other events and performances. Plus, in order to engage visitors longer, we provided fun and attractive content with photos provided by the festival.
THEATRE SANDBOX/ANALOGUE (MICROSOFT SURFACE)
For Analogue Theatre Production's latest production, Hannah and Liam wanted to use 21st Century technologies to explore disconnections between the present and semi-remembered events of childhood. They commissioned us to write a bespoke Microsoft Surface application that enabled the participant to play a game of 'Hide and Seek'. When the participant hid in a particular place, a piece of information related to that object in relation to the story would be revealed. This piece used the object recongition and finger tracking aspects of the Surface.
