For Analogue Theatre’s latest production, Hannah and Liam wanted to use 21st Century technologies to explore disconnections between the present and semi-remembered events of childhood.
They commissioned us to write a bespoke Microsoft Surface application that enabled the participant to play a game of ‘Hide and Seek’. When the participant hid in a particular place, a piece of information related to that object in relation to the story would be revealed. This piece used the object recognition and finger tracking aspects of the Surface.
The app was one of the key parts to their unique show – Living Film Set – that ran at the Bristol Watershed for 3 days in Sept 2010.
