KATE HO

Managing Director

Kate is an interface and interaction designer with expertise in user-centred design. Having recently finished a PhD in requirements engineering from University of Edinburgh, she has extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art methods and techniques for designing human-computer interfaces - such as contextual design, storyboarding, site mapping, wireframing, generating user stories - as well as more traditional requirements engineering tools including UML. She brings this expertise to lead the design process at Interface3; engaging with clients, generating concepts, and producing paper and digital prototypes to get the interaction right before any coding begins.

Away from the design board, Kate also has managerial responsibilities in diverse sectors including sports, events management and computing. She's worked in Girl Geeks Scotland, Scottish Womens Rugby Union and a local Business Consultancy service. These positions has meant resulted in some serious time management and organisational skills which keeps Interface3 up and running.

CHRIS DAVIES

Technical Director

Chris is a developer with over 10 years of experience in the gaming and computer vision industry. He has worked for Sega, VIS Interactive, Tadpole, Edinburgh University and Euronav and he brings his expertise in developing robust, high-quality, reliable software to the team. Chris speaks C#, C++, C, Java, iOS - and whatever is needed for the job! He is passionate about mobile and interactive technologies and always impresses us with newer and fancier gadgets - we're not quite sure how he keeps up! As our technical guru, there aren't many techie things that he can't fix or tell you about...

IANTHE HIND

Lead Graphics Designer

Ianthe has been a graphics designer with 8 years experience working in both print and online media. She is a whizzkid in CSS styling and has designed a number of ecommerce websites in her previous role at a web development company. At Interface3, she brings a watchful eye and that important spark of creative energy to the team. Always one for making sure we've got the right sized buttons, colour and fonts, she makes sure our apps are visually stunning everytime.

Ianthe was educated at UCT with a degree in Applied Maths and Computer Science, and then an honours degree from Edinburgh University in Computer Science.
